The "book" during Hellenistic and Roman Periods

"The term book is used as a general translation for BIBAIOV. As Galen, Comment in Hippocratis de Medici Offic. I, XVIII, 2 suggests, BIBAIOV may be written on rolls, on papyrus or on wooden tablets. In general it appears that books were made of payprus or parchment during the Hellenistic and Roman period.
